Welcome to the website of Court Celtic FC, a Sunday league team playing in the Birmingham Coronation and Alliance League Division 1. Established in 1968, this season marks the 40th anniversay of the founding of the club.

Meeting

There will be no training this week, instead we'll be down at the Colebrook for a pre-tour drink on Thursday. Meet at 8pm for t-shirts, tour itinery, kit and to settle any outstanding payments.

Tour Details

The details for the 40th Anniversary Tour are now confirmed and a page has been created for you to get all the information you need. If you've got any questions contact Graham who should be able to fill you in. If there's anything that's missing use the contact page and it will be updated as soon as possible.

Don't forget that training is still on but has moved to Shirley Park and will start slightly earlier at 6:30pm.

Promotion

After a long season, Court Celtic sealed promotion last week with a 4-4 draw in the snow against Rowood. A win would have kept the pressure on Northfield but they have never looked like being overhauled and will deservedly be crowned Division 1 champions next week.

With our final league gane on Tuesday against St Andrew Tavern we now have the Coronation Cup Semi-Final to look forward to at the end of the month.

Climax to the Season

Well the end of the season is finally in sight. Only five league games remain after Arden Athletic dropped out of Division 1 last month.

Court Celtic had a great February, winning our only league game and two cup games, one against our nearest rivals Northfield Rangers from Division 1 and the other against VIP International who are flying high in the division above.

Unfortunately our run in the George Tomlinson Cup came to end on Sunday despite a stunning performance against Maypole Youth who have not lost all season. A 1-1 result took us to penalties where we eventually lost 7-6.

The dogs night was a resounding success and although our lane was hopeless everyone had a great night.

40th Anniversary Tour

The long awaited Court Celtic 40th anniversary tour to Newquay is currently being organised. The cost of this momentous event will be £140 which includes 3 nights bed and breakfast accommodation and 2 matches against local teams.

The dates for this glorious occasion are May 2nd to May 5th. Anyone interested in attending should contact Graham. The deposit is £20 and is required asap.
